Hi,

We have recently updated the EO.WebBrowser in our app from version:

EO.Total.2019.0.97.0:
to
EO.Total.2020.0.53.0:

now we are facing this error every time we boot under our windows 7 embedded production computers:

"
EO.Internal.i8+e
EO.Base

Child process exited unexpectedly.

at EO.Internal.i8.a(Exception A_0, Boolean A_1)
at EO.Internal.i8.a(o5 A_0)
at EO.Internal.i8.a(Boolean& A_0, axz[] A_1, String A_2, String A_3)
at EO.Internal.i8.a(axz[] A_0, String A_1, String A_2)
at EO.Internal.aoo.a(String A_0, String A_1)
at EO.Internal.at7.b()
at EO.Internal.at7.a.a()
at EO.Internal.pj.a(Action A_0)
at EO.Internal.at7.a(WindowsIdentity A_0)

at ESPBBar.GameModule.FMainHelper.InitWebBrowserEO()
"

This not happens in our windows 10 development machines.

I see in previous post that could be solved updating windows 7 patches, but is not our case, because we can't do that easily.
Is possible to have more info why is happening that?

best regards

Hi,

Our Windows 7 test environment wasn't working properly so we are trying to setup a new Windows 7 test environment to see what we can find. In the mean time, have you tried to enable EO worker process:

https://www.essentialobjects.com/doc/common/eowp.aspx

Thanks!

Yes, we use eowp by default. Now i'm updating patches to windows 7 to try to see if it solves the problem. If it works, will try to isolate what patch solves the problem. We use .net 3.5, i will update to .net 4.0 too, to check if TabbedBrowser works or fails the same way.
