Dear Support-Team,

we have some trouble with zooming PDFs in your WebBrowser. Some customers of us recognized, that zooming with more than 2 fingers causes zooming the whole webpage, instead of only zooming the PDF control. Zooming with 2 fingers zooms only the PDF control. That's how it should work. But it dosen't work with 3 or more fingers. In Chrome it works fine.

You can reproduce this issue with the following example: PDF Zoom
Therefore you need to set the following flag in DevTools: DevTools => CSS => html{ touch-action: none; }

Do you already know this issue or have any fix?

Thank you in advance!

Best Regards,
Philipp

Hi,

This appears to be related to the Chromium version we used. The current version is based on Chromium V70, the latest Chrome is based on Chromium V76, which might handle touch events for the PDF plug in differently. We will resync with Chromium's code base soon, so after that it should behave the same as Chrome.

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for your quick reply!
Can you estimate when V76 will be available in your WebBrowser?

Best regards!

We usually have a new release around year end. So it will be around December/January time frame.

Thanks
