Hi
We are using Webcontrol & Webiew to display a simple webpage on a WinForms application.
The environment in which our application resides is quite memory limited and we have noticed that when the webpage is shown, it results in 4 to 5 eowp.exe processes being started in task manager each consuming 75,000-101,000 K. Overall this consumes close to 300MB of ram which remains in use for the life of the application. This appear excessive for the display of a single new webpage!
We have tried this without using eowp.exe process, however the Runn32Dll processes also pull multiple processes and consume similar memory
The issue is present in 2018 & 2019 as we tried updating and the memory usage is actually slightly higher in 2019 so reverted versions.
Is there a way the processes can be limited to a single one or destroyed once the webiew is closed?

Hi, This is normal. The total amount of memory consumed is NOT the same as the sum of all of them. Please see the last post in the following thread for more details: https://www.essentialobjects.com/forum/postst8270p2_RunDLL32-and-Memory-Footprint-of-EOWebBrowser.aspx#43275Thanks!
