I just have the one machine with the latest build of Windows Server 2019, but I've noticed that the HTML convert function crashes with a general Failed to Load Library error after an extended period of time.

On all my other Server 2016 machines, it's fine.

The application and server configurations and builds are identical bar the OS version and no matter what I do, I can't get Eo.PDF convert to work.

Is this a known issue? Is it the OS, or have I done something on that server that would cause the error?

Hi,

Please try to enable EO worker process:

https://www.essentialobjects.com/doc/common/eowp.aspx

If you use our latest build (version 2018.3.46 from our download page), you can also simply copy eowp.exe to the same folder as your main exe file and it should automatically enable EO worker process without having to make any code changes.

Our next build should work automatically without either remedy.

Thanks!

This is for a web service. I tried putting it into the bin folder but that hasn't done anything. I'm getting the error "Failed to start image manager"

Please give us a week or so and we will have our initial 2019 release out. That release incorporated some improvements on this area. You can try that build when it's out and we can then go from there.

Hi,

This is just to let you know that we have posted our initial 2019 build. You can download the new build from our download page. Please take a look and let us know if it resolves the issue for you.

Thanks!
