We use EO.PDF in our software and some users have problems during PDF generation due anti-virus.
OS: Windows 7 SP1 x64 Bit EO.PDF: 16.2.1 Host Application EXE: x86 Bit Anti-Virus: Trend Micro OfficeScan Agent Version XG 12.0.5261 Service Pack 1 Anti-Virus Message: Malware Behavior ZwWriteVirtualMemory
Is there a solution to avoid this EO.PDF behavior during PDF generation or our users must wait for anti-virus update?

Hi, Please try the latest build and then try to enable EO worker process and see if it resolves the issue for you: https://www.essentialobjects.com/doc/common/eowp.aspxThanks!

Hi,
what about licensing? Can I reuse the previous license?

Hi,
We do not see any order under your account so we can not check. We provide free upgrade for one year after purchase and discount for renewal afterwards. So if you have purchased our product in 2016, your free upgrade should cover you until 2017 and then you may need to renew for 2 years in order to bring your version to current. If you have already renewed to current, then you can simply go to the account to revisit the license key page and you should be able to download a new license key for the current version. If you can PM us with your order number, we can check it for you for sure.
If you just want to verify whether the new version indeed resolve the issue for you (which we would recommend you to do before you upgrade), you can try it WITHOUT applying your old license key. If you do not apply your license key, it will automatically enter trial mode and let you try everything. However if you apply your old license key you will get an invalid license key exception and then you won't be able to actually test it.
Thanks!
