EO.Pdf issue in azure website Options

Hi There,

We recently purchased a license for EO.PDF version 17.0.81. Everything works fine in the local server. But when we deploy to "azure app service" it gives us the following error "The specified CGI application encountered an error and the server terminated the process". Seems like EO.PDF is trying to create another process and that is not working.

We need to go to Production soon, this issue is blocking us. Please help us resolving this issue.

Hi,

Yes. EO.Pdf is based on Google's Chromium browser engine and Chromium browser engine has a multiple process architecture. So it does need to create child process at runtime. As such you will need an Azure Virtual Machine in order to use EO.Pdf.
