I am currently using EO.WebBrowser v17.0.95.0. One of the applications I am using it is for automating a website. I've noticed recently on some of the PC's running the software, that the automation is broken. What it seems is happening is the website that is being automated thinks that I am browsing their website through a frame/iframe and it redirects to a page they have named FrameBuster.aspx. My app goes to the login page, then is redirected to the FrameBuster.aspx page and then back again in a loop.
I am not loading the page in any type of frame/iframe. I am browsing the web page directly in the web browser control using the webview. On the same PC I can use Chrome directly to browse the webpage and it doesn't detect the frame/iframe usage and consequently does NOT redirect to FrameBuster.aspx. This isolates the issue solely to the application that is browsing using the EO WebBrowser control.
I am wondering if the webview/webbrowser control uses a frame/iframe somewhere under the hood to browse?
If not, are there any troubleshooting steps you can recommend?
Is there any chance upgrading to the latest version will alleviate the issue (I have a current subscription)?
Regards,
Michael George

Hi,
No. EO.WebBrowser does not use additional frame/iframes. It works exactly the same way as a regular web browser.
The first thing you should try is to update to the current build and see if it resolves the problem for you. The page you are trying to load may relies on certain APIs that only exists in newer version of the Chromium browser engine and reaches incorrect conclusion (such as thinks that the page is running inside a frame) when that API does not exist. If that's the case, you would see the same problem if you were to browser the page with an older version of Google Chrome browser.
If it still doesn't work in the latest build, you can PM us the Url and we will be happy to take a look here and see what we can find.
Thanks!

I've upgraded the EO.WebBrowser to the latest version and now when I set the Webview.URL I am encountering the following error:
"This WebView either has already been destroyed or is being destroyed."
Please advise.

I figured out the "This WebView either has already been destroyed or is being destroyed." error. After upgrading, I didn't update the license key to the 2018 version.
Thanks
