SlideMenu allowed Roles Options

I've changed the slidemenu to use an external xml file for the menu by specifying a xmldatasource, which works fine. However I can't get allowed roles to work on external xml files.

What do I have to set in the xml file, and do I need to specify anything in the control?

I've tried adding AllowRoles="xxxx" to the xml file nodes but it doesn't work.

Hi,

I believe it does through DataBinding object as mentioned in the same documentation.
