I suggest that you develop a control to crop and resize a picture on the server. I tell my clients to take their pictures at 640 x 480. After they upload them I'd them to be able to crop and resize it to some smaller dimension.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your suggestion. Resizing and croping images are rarely simple using GDI+. So it may not be needed to have them in a separate control. However providing sample code for that along with our uploader may be a good solution.

The client side Graphical UI development allowing the user to select the cropped area is what would add value.
