Too bad one can't attach screen shot images to this post. Anyhow, a horizontal menu displays fine with IE7 and lower. When viewed with IE8 all top level entries are crammed into the right side and only the left side images are visible. If one moves the mouse to expand a submenu and then continues to move to expand another child or try to click on a sub menu item, the menu closes. Bottom line: Menu doesn't work in IE8 anymore. Then I found that IE8 has a compatibility view list. Add the site with the EO. menu to that list and your menu works as before, under IE7.
Anybody know why?
Thank you for your time. Achim

Hi,
Thanks for post in the forum. IE 8 is still in Beta but we are definitely keeping a close eye on it. We have already found some issues and submitted it to Microsoft because some of these issues simply needs to be fixed on their side. We are also aware of several menu effect issues that we are currently working on.
However we are not aware of any issue like you described. Is it possible for you to create a test page that demonstrates the problem? Screenshots rarely helps because usually we can't tell exactly what's wrong just based on the screenshot. However if you can provide a test page that we can run at here and see the problem, that would be very helpful for us identify the root cause.
Thanks
