Hi
I am evaluating this tool for my company and one of our top requirements is to perform inline spell checks on textbox controls. Does the spell checker support this functionality?
Thanks

Hi,
We are not aware that inline spellchecing on a textbox control is even possible. The only way we've seen this to be done is through a browser plug-ins, such as Google ToolBar. Obviously this is not an option since it requires user to download and install additional code.
Please let us know if you see this is implemented anywhere else with JavaScript. We will be happy to take a look and see if we can implement that as well.
Thanks

The context menu works on IE. I do not get this one because the editor does now work in Safari. Check out the check as you type example. http://www.aspnetspellchecker.com/Samples.aspx?component=UltimateSpell.So if you guy implement will I get a reward? :)

Hi,
This one is different. Inline spell checking on a HTML Editor control is well possible and in fact that is something on our to-do list. However inline spell checking on a standard ASP.NET TextBox control does not seem to be possible --- I believe TextBox control is what you mentioned and that's also what we were referring to.
Hope this clears up.
Thanks

Yes it is the html text box. Do you have an estimated release date for the inline spell checking?

Hi,
Unfortunately we don't have an ETA on that yet. Very few people have expressed interest in this feature. But we are certainly looking to support it.
Thanks
