Hi,

Have been using the menu for a few months now, and getting javascipt errors from the page saying the folloing:

EO.Web Controls Client Side Debug Message:\r\n\r\nThe control library wasn't able to automatically initialize correctly. Please refer to http://www.essentialobjects.com/Go.aspx?id=1002

I tried upgrading to a new version on the dll and now the pages don't even load on localhost.
Getting an error saying:

EO.Web Controls uses eo_web.ashx to render JavaScript files. However the file has been denied access due to your website's permission settings. This often occurs when the site requires login and denies anonymous access to all pages except for a few landing/login pages. When these pages use EO.Web controls, the control can stop function because access to eo_web.ashx is also been denied. Please modify your web.config's authorization section to allow anonymous access to eo_web.ashx.

Can anyone help?

Thanks :-)

Hi,

This usually has to do with your permission settings. Please see if this post helps:

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for the reply...
The post didn't really help in my case. I do have to authenticate users from the first page, and at satrt I thought that might be the case. but even after adding the tags to the web.config I get the same javascript error.
It also appears after the use logs in, hence in every page on the website.
Is there anything else that might be causing this?

Thanks again :-)

Keren

Hi,

We don't know for sure but if you can post the page Url (you may want to send it us through private message), we will be happy to take a look.

Thanks
