Dear Support,
I am experiencing an issue with eowp.exe running a chromium browser, where the eowp.exe process tree lingers past the termination of the calling application. When I attemp to close the tree, I get Access Denied from taskman.

In that case most likely those processes are not created by your application --- for example, it's created by another application running under a different user context.

Dear EO_Support,
Thank you for your response. I took a look at one of the orphaned trees and confirmed it was created by my process (the listed parent is my program, which is no longer an active process on the system) and the user listed is my current user.

Hi,
We are not sure how this occurred and why you are not able to kill it even through Task Manager. Our guess is some kind of crash somewhere put the child process into an unstable state. We will continue monitor this issue and if we observe the same issue in our test environment, we will be able to investigate further and see what we can find.
Thanks!
