Hi Support Team,

yesterday Google released a new Chrome version (103.0.5060.114) that fixes some security issues in Chrome including one critical zero-day vulnerability CVE-2022-2294.

We have been advised to update our Chrome software, so I have two questions:

Is your EO WebBrowser also affected by these critical issues?
If it is affected: When will an update to the fixed version be available in your browser?

Thanks in advance for some information!

Best regards!

Hi,

We do not have all the details about this issue yet. To avoid wide exploits, typically Google would withhold the technical details as well as the fix for the issue for a period of time until Chrome has been patched and widely updated. We would have to wait until this period if over before we can analyze the issue and fix code in order to determine whether our product is affected, and if it is, then apply the fix code. In any case, we would evaluate it as soon as we are able to.

Thanks!
