With the introduction of EO 2022 products the signature of the EO Products cannot be verified any more. This causes a failure in our products as we verify the signature of the loaded assemblies. Steps to reproduce. Open windows explorer right click on EO.WebBrowser.dll -> Select properties Goto Digital Signatures, select Essential Objects Signature View details (email address is in 2022 not available any more) Click on View Certificate Message pops up Windows does not have enough information to verify this certificate
Reason. Old Certificate was signed by Comodo root auth which is usually in the trusted store. New Certificate is signed by SSL.com which is not part of a standard windows installation There is also no entry in changelog which would hint to this change

Hi, Make sure you apply the most recent Windows updates for your Windows. Microsoft maintain a list of trusted root certificates and this list is updated through Windows update over time. You can find the current list here: https://ccadb-public.secure.force.com/microsoft/IncludedCACertificateReportForMSFTThe above link is provided by Microsoft on this page: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/security/trusted-root/participants-listYou will see the SSL root certificate is in the trusted root certificate list. Thanks!

Thanks for the quick answer, I will check with our IT departement about the source of the trusted root authorities.
