Hi EO

Was wondering can you provide steps that I have to implement to use with Windows Forms Project ( in my case I'm using Spreadsheet Control (DevExpress) component in Windows Forms ) as default viewer for XLSx, XLS, CSV and TXT files email attachments in mail client running on EO.WebBrowser.

For the moment default action on non PDF documents is download file.
In this case I would like to replace download dialog with Open / Save dialog and stream it to Spreadsheet Control if we dealing with XLSx, XLS, CSV and TXT files.

Regards
Alex

Hi
I'm using Spreadsheet Control component in Windows Forms as default viewer for XLSx, XLS, CSV and TXT files

Sorry, It's nothing to do with EO.WebBrowser , just trying to get an idea of how I can handle e-mail attachments in EO.WebBrowser to redirect them to Viewer component in Windows Forms.

What I can think of is to have attachment downloaded to stream and send to Viewer. As long as I can understand PDF viewer plugin working on Chromium level and that's why it's recognised before Download dialog will appears, then in my case there is no other Viewers plugins in Chromium so I have to have EO.WebBrowser to work with "Save file" dialog window to have it replaced with Open/Save dialog window and if Open button will be pressed send download stream to Viewer component.

So far EO.WebBrowser is Windows Forms component I have a hope that I will be able to do something like this.

Regards.
Alex

Hi,

You can handle this event to force EO.WebBrowser to download a PDF file instead of displaying it:

Thanks!
