Hi I have EO.pdf for .Net (2011) running for some years now without any major issues. I use it in one project, which works fine. I now want to use it in another project in the same solution but suddenly I get this error message: EO.Pdf.HtmlToPdfException: 'Convertion failed. Failed to resolve LoadLibrary and GetProcAddress' In other posts it says that version 2011 is out-of-date, but it still runs fine. Why does it work in one project in a solution, and not in a second project in the same solution? Henk Jelt Hoving

Hi,
You will need a newer version. This error occurs when you run an older version on a newer Windows. Microsoft changed something on their end first in Windows 10 so this issue first started to appear on Windows 10. However later Microsoft started to apply the same changes to other version of Windows through Windows update (such as Windows Server 2012) so older version of EO.Pdf would have problems on those systems as well. We have changed our code to workaround this issue so the current version should work fine.
Thanks!

Hi
I read your answer, which I have read on other posts as well.
However, my license runs fine on my Windows 10 laptop in one project, and generates the error on the same laptop in another project.
How is that possible?

Hi,
I am not sure what else to tell you. There might be some specific comparability settings on your system that can change the behavior of the application, or somehow you have a version of Windows that is different than other distributions. In any case, this is a known issue on Windows 10 for old versions and the only solution that we know for sure would work is to update to a newer version. You might be able to find other "hack" to make it work but we will neither investigate nor support on such unofficial solutions.
Thanks!

Do you have a friendly offer to upgrade? I bought the old version with lifetime usage.

Your order has been over 7 years, so it has long passed any upgrade window. henkjelt wrote:I bought the old version with lifetime usage. All our orders have life time usage and you still can use the old version on older Windows. This does not mean that it will work forever in no matter whatever environment. In your case, you have a newer Windows that the older version does not support, so it won't work --- but it will continue to work on older Windows. It is our goal it have it work in as many environment as possible, but there are factors that we have no control with. In those cases we will do our best to address the issues in newer versions, however it is not practical for us to back ports all the fixes into an older version. So in your case, your option is to continue using the old version with Windows that it does support, or upgrade to newer version that does support newer Windows. I apologize for the limited options but there really isn't any options in between.
