My issue:
I have Windows 10 Quicken 2018 R8
I can not log in to Quicken. I get the following error message:
Exception: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at EO.WebBrowser.WebView.al(cr A_0, ar4 A_1) at EO.WebBrowser.WebView.a(cr A_0, ar4 A_1) at EO.WebBrowser.WebView.b(cr A_0, ar4 A_1)
I have contacted Quicken support folks and they do not know how to fix it??
Any ideas??

Hi,
Thanks for posting in the forum. However we do not support our customer's customer directly. So in your case any support issues must go through Quicken. Our product is for developers, not end users. A typical example would be we sell a single license to one developer, who develops an application and then sell 1000 end users. In this case it would not be fair for us to support 1000 end users based on a single license. As such any issues on the end user side must go through the developer first. We will then work with the developer to address them.
Thanks!

We'll this is now interesting - I have spent many hours with Quicken 2018 support team and they stated they can not help me since it is a Windows 10 or EO Browser issue and not a Quicken issue - I am now "Lost in Space" as everyone is saying that "it is the other guy problem and not ours - call them for help."

It doesn't work this way --- they can not do that. Would Apple tells you to contact their battery vendor when your iPhone's battery has problems? The common sense here is Apple would need to work with their vendor to resolve whatever issue if there is an issue with the component, or even switch vendor if necessary. It's the same here. We are ready to work with Quicken any time, but we are not in a position to support their customer directly. We are quite firm on this so this position won't change.

Support Team,
I know it is not your job but would it be possible to point me in a direction as Quicken will do nothing to help me. Windows folks say it is a Quicken problem and Quicken folks say it is a network or Windows problem.
I get the error below:
My software is:
Windows 10 Norton's 360 Quicken 2018 R8
I can download and install the Quicken 2018 software but I can not log in to Quicken. I get the following error message:
Exception: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at EO.WebBrowser.WebView.al(cr A_0, ar4 A_1) at EO.WebBrowser.WebView.a(cr A_0, ar4 A_1) at EO.WebBrowser.WebView.b(cr A_0, ar4 A_1)
Is this a Quicken 2018 or Windows 10 or Networking or Norton 360 error or issue???
Any help or pointing is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
As already explained ---- we are quite firm on this. We can not open this door of supporting our customer's customer directly. This position will not change. So please do not attempt this again in the future. We will be left with no option but close your account if you continue to do this. Your post will also be deleted without notice.
Once again, we are ready to work with our customer, which is Quicken, any time on such issues. But we won't support their customer directly.
Thanks
