I get the following message after opening a PDF in Acrobat Reader which was merged with the current version 18.0.98:
"Cannot extract the embedded font '<TTF font name>'. Some characters may not display or print correctly."

There was no such message with 18.0.70. Test files will be sent to you.

Hi,

We have received one file. Can you also send the other file you are trying to merge this first file with?

Thanks!

As you can see in the code sent I merge it with the same file. Not really a normal use case I know. But this bug may occur in other cases as well.

Hi,

Sorry that we didn't notice that. We have found the root of the problem. We should have a new build soon with this problem fixed.

Thanks!

Hi,

We have posted a new build that should fix this problem. Please download it from our download page and let us know how it goes.

Thanks!

Yes, the new build fixed this problem. But my license seems to be invalid for this new build. Do I really need a new license for this single version step?

Hi,

This is because we provide free upgrade for one year only and it has already expired for you. However because this has only passed your expiration date for a few days, so we have temporarily changed your original order date so that you can qualify for this build. Please log into your account to download a new license key with the new expiration date and you should be able to use that key. After that please let us know and we will change the order date back to its original date.

Going forward you might want to consider renewing your license. Note that renewing or not does not affect your original license. Your original license will continue to function for previous versions even if you do not renew. However once you renew you will be able to continue receiving newer builds and tech support for another year.

Thanks!

Thanks, that's kind of you. We will let you know once we downloaded it. I'm not in charge of licences.
But if you say a few days ago, subscription renewal is not possible any more under those circumstances?

That is not correct. You can renew any time, either before or after your previous subscription expiration date. However:

1. It doesn't matter when you renew, your renewing starting date will always start from your last expiration date. So for example, if your previous expiration date is 1/1/2018 and you renew one year on 12/15/17, then your new expiration date will be 1/1/2019. So you will not lose any time to renew early. Likewise, if you renew on 1/15/2018 for one year, your new expiration date will still be 1/1/2019. In another word, you will not gain any time either by renewing late;

2. To encourage our users to renew early, the price is slightly cheaper if you renew before the expiration date. In the previous example, it will be cheaper if you renew on 12/15/2017 instead of 1/15/2018 because 12/15/2017 is before your previous expiration date 1/1/2018. Both will give you exactly the same benefits and the same new expiration date;

Hope this clears up. Please feel free to let us know if you still have any questions.

Thanks!

You are very welcome and glad to hear that you have downloaded the new key. We have reverted your order date back to its original date.
