Hi, I have a grid with a ButtonColumn that is shown as below:  I need the ButtonColumn to appear only when the "Business / Regional" column is different of blank like below:  How do I do this in client side? Another question. Can I replace the ButtonColumn with a CustonColumn that has an ASPX ImageButton, like the example below?  Thanks in advance, Marcelo Camarate

Hi, You can use conditional style feature to apply a CSS class conditionally on your Grid item: http://demo.essentialobjects.com/Demos/Grid/Features/Conditional%20Formatting/Demo.aspxFor example, you can apply a CSS class "hide_button" on the Grid item conditionally. You can then use combined CSS selector rule to conditionally show/hide your button based on whether your element is a child element of "hide_button". Thanks

Hi, Thanks for your quickly reply, but I not understood it well. I already use special formatting using StyleSetID to display the items in different colors (blue or red). But, I think, this affects all cells in the item, right? So, how can I affect only one cell of the item using StyleSetID? I would appreciate if you can help me to solve this problem. I am putting below the current definition of my grid to you guide me.

Hi, You will need to use CssClass, not CssText in your style. The basic idea is to apply different class names and then use the class names to apply different styles. Consider the following HTML:
Code: HTML/ASPX
<div class="row_with_button_visible">
<div class="button">this is visible</div>
</div>
<div class="row_with_button_invisible">
<div class="button">this is not visible</div>
</div>
When the above HTML combined with the following CSS it will display the text in the first block, but hide the text in the second block:

.row_with_button_visible .button
{
display: block;
}
.row_with_button_invisible .button
{
display: none;
}
Your goal is to get such CssClass to be applied on the GridItem and your button column respectively, then use them in the above way to show/hide items conditionally. Thanks!
