Hello,

I am getting a channel disconnected error on my systems. It seems to be timing related, and occurs often on one system:

Windows 7 Enterprise N SP1
32 bits

link to win7 error report

My developing system has usually works, but with wnough patience, the error also occurs there:

Windows 10 Pro
64 bits

link to win10 error report

Shortly after I hide this error, the main application crashes. What can I do to prevent this kind of error? I must admit, I am not disposing properly at this time.

Edit: Disposing and manually handling the channel disconnected error have resulted in what seems to be a stable situation. But it doesn't feel very stable yet. It would be good to know the cause of the crash.

Hi,

A channel disconnected error is usually caused by a browser engine crash. Most of such crashes originate from Chromium browser engine and it is beyond us to fix it. However if you can reproduce it, you can send the repro to us and we can debug into the source code and see what actually triggered it, and we maybe able to give you suggestions on how to avoid such crashes.

Even if the browser engine crashes, your application should not crashes. The fact that your application crashes might be caused by not properly disposing the objects. Since after you dispose the objects your main application no longer crashes, so that part of the issue should be resolved. Thus the only remaining issue is the browser engine crash issue. The best way is for you to reproduce it and send the repro to us:

Once we have that we will try to reproduce it here and see what we can find.

Thanks!
