Hi,
When connecting to target URL, EO browser uses proxy settings from Internet Options. Is there a way we can change those settings? We have a scenario, where EO browser has to connect to the target URL without using any proxy (inspite of having proxy details in Internet Options).
Your quick response is highly appreciated.

Hi,
I do not believe there is a way to do that in the current build. We will see if we can add this in the future.
Thanks!

I too would like the option of configuring proxy settings for the EO.Browser. My customers are security conscious and don't want visited sites to source their IP address. Having the option to configure proxy settings is of high importance. Would love to see this implemented as soon as possible.

Hi John, You can use this property to configure proxy (this is different than the original question, which asks how not to use any proxy when IE's proxy is set): http://www.essentialobjects.com/doc/eo.webbrowser.runtime.proxy.aspxThanks!

Apologies for reviving an old thread, I was just curious if this has ever been added to the EO browser?
I'm referring to the ability to ignore the proxy details in Internet Options.

Is this property independent of system settings? What if I have 2 different running instances and I set one to use the proxy and the other not - or even to use another proxy? Will they collide?

Hi, You can set proxy to this value to ignore proxy settings for your system: https://www.essentialobjects.com/doc/eo.base.proxyinfo.direct.aspxYou can use different proxy settings for two different Engine instances. They will not interfere with each other. Thanks!
