Moved a site from windows server 2008r2 to 2012r2 and started getting this error.
Does this mean that in addition to windows 10 the 2014 version will also not work on 2012r2 server

Hi,

Yes. It's correct. The updates that was included in Windows 10 seems to have been pushed to Windows 2012r2 as well. Please update to the latest build and it should work.
