I recently installed my .Net application on a new PC, and I cannot get any PDF pages to load within my eo.webbrowser browser control.

When I try to load a PDF the control crashes.

I read through this article to see if there was possibly something I was missing:
http://www.essentialobjects.com/doc/6/advanced/plugin.aspx

I installed the Adobe Flash Player again (it was already installed)

I also installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (which was released on April 7th). I believe this replaced Adobe Reader.

I am wondering if there could be an incompatibility with EO.WebBrowser and the new Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Hi,

We have this installed on our test machine and it works fine. The plug DLL that works in our environment is this file:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AIR\nppdf32.dll

The file version is 15.7.20033.133275. The timestamp of the DLL is 3/17/2015 1:42 AM.

You can try to copy that DLL into the same directory as your application and see if that works.

Thanks!
