Hi I've noticed that some sites are missing some icons / special chars and replacing them with the default rectangle unicode (U+25AF). It is especially a problem on this site krak.dkI am not sure how these are fetched/rendered, but they are placed using the CSS ::before selector. Any idea why these aren't shown properly? Thanks Jeppe Haugaard Sørensen

Hi, We are not able to identify any part that is not showing correctly. Can you try to isolate the problem into a test page and then send us the test page? Once you have the test page, you can following the instructions here to send the test page to us: http://www.essentialobjects.com/forum/test_project.aspxThanks!

Hi,
Thank you very much for the test file. Can you check whether you are running the latest EO.WebBrowser (should have DLL version 3.0.99.0)? We tested with the latest version of TabbedBrowser with your test file and it seems to have worked fine.
Thanks!

I am using 3.0.99.1 in the application and I have tested it with TabbedBrowser using 3.0.99.0, and it still looks weird.
Maybe it has something to do with my location, firewall etc.
I can show you a screenshot, by I'm not sure how to post an image in this forum?
Can you show how it looks like when you test?
Thanks

Hi,
The first icon appears like a "location pin" that you would usually see in a map application when we view it in TabbedBrowser. You can try to change your system's language/locale setting to US English and see if it works. Obviously that is not the final solution but that might give us some pointers.
Thanks!

Yes that sounds right.
I just tried tabbedbrowser on a machine with locale set to US, and your'e right, it works on that!
I'll try to look at and compare the requests on the different machines.
Thanks

It turns out the issue isn't concerned with locale but rather OS.
It works on Windows 7 but not on Windows 8.1. So it's probably an issue with security or rights.
