Hello EO support,

We noticed that each rundll32.exe process consume between 50-70 mb on our dev computer ( 8gb memory installed - win7 64bits);
And on some of our production's computers we noticed that each process took 20 - 40 mb ( 2 gb memory installed on those - win7 64bits); but some computer consume 50-70 mb aswell wich is a problem for us.

I think Chrome automatically adjust it's memory based on the installed amount of ram; do you have any informations on this?

Best regards

Hi,

We do not know all the internal details about Chrome browser engine either. So we do not know whether Chrome automatically adjust its memory based on the installed amount of RAM.

If memory consumption is an issue for you, you can try multi-DLL build:

http://www.essentialobjects.com/doc/6/install/multi_dll_build.aspx

The multi-DLL build will cut the memory used by our code, however it does not change anything inside the core browser engine.

Thanks!
