EO.WebBrowser: javascript history.back() not working Options

Hi there,

I'm looking for a substitute for the default browser for Windows Forms and EO.WebBrowser fits perfectly for me. ;) I'm considering purchasing a licence, but during the tests we found an issue.

There is a link on a web application which we opened on EO.WebView who calls "history.back()" javascript function. On a regular Chrome browser it works and it goes back, but on our application it shows an empty page whose content is "<html><head></head><body></body></html>" (or something like that). Do you guys know any issues related to it?

We are using version 3.0.89.0, framework 2.0.

We tested this and it seems to be working fine here. Can you try to isolate the problem into a test project and then send the test project to us? Please see here for test project guidelines:

Hi there, thanks for your quick reply!

We attempted to reproduce the scenario but got no success. I'm pretty sure the problem is server side: we are attempting to access an asp page which might have some internal redirects. One thing which caused us some concern is that on Google Chrome 38.0.2125.111 (Windows x64) the javascript works fine, but on the given version of EO.WebView it doesn't.

It turns out that the issue is not impeditive for us to go on and we are about to buy a licence. Just leaving our impression so it can help other people if they have problems.
