Hi!

Can you tell me if EO.WebBrowser (used in a plugin) can run inside IE when Protected Mode is enabled?
It works OK when Protected Mode is disabled or when site is added to Trusted Sites zone (medium right)

But I can't get it running under Protected Mode (low rights).

This command fails:
"C:\Windows\system32\rundll32.exe" ntdll.dll eo_rundll_main "C:\VW\EO.WebBrowser.dll" 528.421893056 1 cs. "C:\Windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL\System.Windows.Forms\2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089\System.Windows.Forms.dll" "" --enable-speech-input

Error: Missing entry: eo_rundll_main
Screenshoots

Can this be done?

Regards.

Hi,

We have not tested our EO.WebBrowser running inside another browser as a plug-in but it would make perfect sense that it can not run. EO.WebBrowser needs to run native code through rundll32.exe. It appears that part fails to start due to permission issues. However if you can send us a test project we will be happy to look further to see if we can find any way to get around it. Please see here for more details on how to send us a test project:

Thanks!
