Will Google hosted web fonts(http://www.google.com/webfonts) work in the EO.PDF render? My first test leads to the answer of No, but could I get confirmation from support. --- For those of you who dont know what I am talking about - to use a font in your site hosted by google you just add a link tage in your page to load it: Quote:<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Telex"/> then just reference it in your stylesheet: Quote:body{ font-family: 'Telex', sans-serif; }

Hi,
No. I do not believe that's supported. We do not install any font off the web (not even temporarily), so any font we use has to be already on the system.
Thanks!

OK thanks that what I needed to know. The good news is that we have access to install fonts on the server and the font is open source. Problem solved by installing it on the server.

Are google web fonts still not supported? PDF generation seems to work for me. Am I just getting lucky?

Ryan wrote:Are google web fonts still not supported? PDF generation seems to work for me. Am I just getting lucky? Sorry about the delay. They are fully supported now. Underlying there are two things related to Google font: 1. @font-face CSS style. I believe this was supported since late last year; 2. PostScript font file format. Previously we only support TrueType font file format. PostScript file format support were added very recently but there were some issues. We have just posted a new build that corrected these issues. So if you download the new build from our download page again, Google Web fonts should be fully supported. Once again I apologize about the delay. We were waiting for the new build to be ready in order to give you a "fully supported" answer. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!
