Hi,

I am facing a very simple problem : i need to put Progess Bar in indeterminate state means i don't know amount of time a particular task will take (Just like in the last picture off your progress bar component illustration).

Thanks

Hi,

You don't need a ProgressBar control for this situation. Usually people would just use an animated gif for that.

Thanks!

So, you don't handle this if I understand better.

The problem is that I alternate child task of a bigger task between a know situation (n rows to process) and unknown situation (deleting big number of rows in database for up to 3 min) so i want to use the same Progress Bar to handle this scenario switching it to determinate and indeterminate state when needed.

So is it possible to put Progress Bar in indeterminate state when necessary like in your component illustration ?

Thanks

Hi,

That screenshot is not intermediate mode. It's a ProgressBar with RepeatIndicatorImage set to false. See here for more details:

http://www.essentialobjects.com/doc/1/eo.web.progressbar.repeatindicatorimage.aspx

Nevertheless, you might be able to use this property for your purpose.

Another note is that the free tech support has long expired for you (we provide one year free support after the purchase). So if you still have any questions, you will need to upgrade your license to the current version. We have sent you a private message with more details. You can click the "inbox" at the top of the forum to view the message.

Thanks!
