Is it possible to just display Month and Year in the calendar when using the date picker?

Yes. You will need to set the control's PickerFormat property:

Yeah I can get the textbox to display mm/yyyy, what I also want to do is have the popup calendar to show only months and years.

Oh I see. I don't think you can do that. Sorry about it! The only thing you can do is to disable the popup Calendar completely so that user still get the masked edit feature of the textbox.
