We have a website that uses the HtmlToPdf.ConvertHtml function to produce a certificate of completion PDF. This site has functioned without issue for months in our old productoin environment, but we recently had to move the site to a new web server and since this move the ConvertHtml function no longer works. Now, all we get is a label which is populated on the page load, but the rest of the page is entirely blank. I also noticed that the blank PDF takes roughly 20 seconds to render, whereas it used to render the certificate in 1-2 seconds.

I'm wondering if there is networking issue at play here. During the PDF rendering process does the EO.PDF software make calls to an external server? If so, can you provide me with the URL, so I can have our networking team add an exception for it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

You will want to check this first:

Okay, I'm actually having the opposite occur. If I go into IIS and browse to the site, I can actually get the certificate to render properly, but when I access the site remotely it produces a blank page from all browser types.

Do you have any other ideas as to what could be the cause of the blank output?

Hi,

If you are getting a blank page in your browser, then it has to do with your web server/web application, in that case the problem would not have anything to do with us and you will need to work out the problem yourself.

Thanks!
