I'm using editablelabels and want to show a Hint but without a tooltip. Is there any way to stop the hint text appearing as a tooltip?

Hi,
In the current version there is no way to do that. However it does make sense NOT to show the tooltip when the text is empty and the hint text is already displayed. We will change our code in our next build to display tooltip only if the text is not empty.

OK, thanks!
..but for me it would be better to have the option to turn the tooltip off alltogether. My application is only going to be used by a few people and once they get the idea that they have to click on text to edit it they will just complain that the tooltips are annoying.

Hi,
We understand. But we have to think for all other customers too. ;) We think we should keep it and of course if we hear more feedback from more customers, we can still change it.
