Hi

I have been using your controls for a while now and I am very satisfied.
However I am stuck into a lack of understanding. I believe it is because of your strict but understandable support policy.

Today I am using the menu and in code behind (vb) I have redirects performed. Even though using “updatepanels” in asp.net, the page reloads.

As my menus are loaded from an SQL-datasource and sometimes are deep the reload, that often is not required regarding the menu itself, takes some time and are done after the actual part of page is loaded.

I am striving for something similar to your cross frame example but not using frames as it is not supported in Visual Studio 2010 or Visual Web Developer 2010.

And when back to Master Pages I am stuck again. I have really put some time into this and have not been successful. I have a couple of Web solutions up and running but stumble on this.

How is it able to use a solution based on AJAX extension or similar and avoid using cross frames?

An in such a case, how is the page loaded into the updatepanel without reloading the full page?

Please, I beg for an input on this as I am really stuck! Maybe there is an example somewhere?

Best regards

Hi,

I really have no idea what you meant by "use a solution based on AJAX extension or similar to avoid using cross frames". AJAX extension and cross frames seems to be completely unrelated topics to me. From the menu point of view, you either use cross frame or not. With your application, you can either use AJAX or not. These two are totally unrelated. The AJAX part doesn't have anything to do with us. For the cross frame part, you can find more information here:

Thanks
