OK - this is somewhat obfuscated so please can I get a straight answer.

In order to use and deploy a page using ASPXtoPDF do I, or do I not, need a full EO.Pdf license in place?

If I do what is the point in putting it in EO.Web other than a shameless marketing ploy for the alarmingly more expensive product?

Hi,

You do need a license for ASPXToPDF. We've made this very clear in the "license and deploy" section in the documentation:

http://www.essentialobjects.com/doc/1/aspxtopdf/aspxtopdf.aspx

The reason ASPXToPDF is packaged inside EO.Web is because it's an ASP.NET control and shares a lot of code with other EO.Web controls. Also there are users who use our EO.Pdf products in a regular application instead of Web application environment. Those users do not want to reference System.Web. So packing ASPXToPDF inside EO.Pdf.dll would have a negative impact for them. Thus we chose to pack it inside EO.Web.dll.

Thanks
