Hi I am using the Editor on your website to demo my problem at http://demo.essentialobjects.com/Demos/Editor/Designs/Office%202003/Demo.aspx

If you visit the page then select the editor full option and then go to the html view and add some text.

Switch back to Design view, select ALL text and then try and a Heading 1, you will see that it does not do anything, but if you pick a font, it will apply a style round your content.

It will apply a H1 if you select part of the text

My content is coming from a database to be formatted but we can’t seelct all the text to apply a P tag styles which is a problem.

Can you advise please, thanks?

Hi,

I believe it doesn't let you to do that because it would produce invalid HTML. H1 is an inline element, so you can not use it to wrap around a block element such as P. Likewise, it would not allow you to simply wrap everything in the editor as a P either.

Thanks!
