I've had a question come up about backward compatibility. Is it save to assume that some of the earlier browsers are not supported by eo.web 2012? IE6 for example or earlier? I know... but I had a client ask.
Is there any information posted about browsers and version support? What's your policy regarding this?
Thanks

Hi,
We no longer test our newer controls on IE 6 since it's already more than 10 years old and MS is actively campaigning against using it. Older control should continue to work on IE 6 but they are based on the fact that they were released much earlier when IE 6 was still a dominate browser, not because we still actively work to support it. So as a general rule, you can assume that we do not actively support out dated browsers even though there is a good chance that the product will work just fine on them.
Thanks!
