I have purchased EO license for all the asp.net products i have applied them to my server nmdc-edms
In my local network if i use the application i do not get any license prompt, but the same server when accessed remotely it is called nmdc-edms.nmdc.ae there the license prompt shoots up.

Both are same server but only when it is called externally from the LAN we have to give the full address.
I tried to add the host name as nmdc-edms.nmdc.ae in the license file .licx, but it gave error invalid host name.

Let me know what to do.

Regards

Hi,

You have a standard license. A standard license is locked to a single host name (that's why it's cheaper) and you CAN NOT change that host name once set.

In order to use a different host name, you must upgrade your license to developer license. We can upgrade your license for the price difference ($150). Please let us know if are interested in that.

Thanks!

Unfortunately no. We could not make such changes. We would have been able to change for you if you just purchased it and realized that you have put in the wrong host name; But we can't change it after you have already used it for almost one year. Sorry about that!

Hi,

We have sent the detailed instructions to you through private message. With developer license, your license file does not have to have a host name at all, thus works for any host name.

Thanks!
