Hello,

I have a problem with the editor control when copying a large text, 400 or 600 pages, inside the editor;
I remark an important latency occur on the web page, a process on my laptop use the cpu at 99% and more than 1.5 GB of memory used. Any other button on the web page not responding!

Is there any solution or away to use the edior with the such large text?

Thanks for your response.

Best regards,

Mohamed

No. I am afraid the only solution is to avoid copy such large text. These are extreme scenarios that we won't be able to consider ---- such as "how to load 20 person in a single car?". Obviously if we were the car maker, we wouldn't modify the car design for you alone so that it can indeed load 20 people. So the answer is do not do that. Hope you understand.

It’s not my choice but an constraint, but I need to insert such text in the html format into my database for full-text search, switching from a plain text to html text is the reason why we selected your editor control.
So how can you help me? I’m open to any suggestion.
Best regards,
Mohamed

I think we have already said it very clearly in our previous reply. Do not do it. It is not possible for us to change our product just to support one single extreme scenario. Not only it does not make sense cost wise, it can also undermine the quality of the product if we were to change the product for all rare extreme scenarios. I understand it's not your choice, but unfortunately no is the only answer for this case. You might just have to figure out how to pass this answer to your boss. ; )
