I've purchased a developer license [EO.Web Controls Suite (2011) Developer License - 1 License(s)] but I'm having problems registering my controls on a site. I'm using ASP.NET with VB.NET. I've registered the developer license on my PC ... and I got one license to work for a website on my server. However, I seem to not be able to register the controls on any additional sites. I've tried this on 2 separate URLs with no luck. I've tried a site specific license and a license not tied to a URL ... but no luck. I also tried embedding the license within the ASP.NET code (Application Start) ... but no luck. All thow an error when viewed saying it doesn't have a valid license. It's very important that I get this up and running for my client by tomorrow. Can you help? I'm out of ideas. Thanks, Jim Seaborg - 972-239-3818

Hi,
Developer license does not restrict number of site. What you need is to download the license file from the "Redistribute Key" tab and put that file in your app's bin directory or root directory. You do NOT need to register your license key on your production machine. The license file is all you need.
Thanks!

I've done this (as explained above) but this does not work. What else could be the problem?

Did you try to skip the host name all together? There is a button says "Continue without restricting host name" for developer license.
Thanks!

Yes ... but that didn't work either.

In that case you will need to follow the license troubleshooting link displayed in the license error message. That license troubleshooting guide should cover all scenarios.

I've tried everything in the troubleshooting list you refered to (the link in the popup error):
1 - checked that the license file is in the bin directory 2 - wrote "File.Exists(Server.MapPath ... " code to verify that the license file is being seen by the application (it is being seen so this is not the problem). 3 - opened up the file in Notepad and verified that the Calendar object is listed in the license 4 - verified the host name is in the license
I also tried (again) to create the license without the host name ... but that did not work.
I'm using Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4.0.
I have another application using your Slider control (built with Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4.0 ... and running on the same server). This works fine.
It seems to me that there is a problem with the license itself (or perhaps specfically with the caledar control). I need help on this one. Can someone call me?
Thanks,

Please disregard this inquiry. I finally figured it out. I had an older version of the dll ... compared to the license.
Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it.
