I am using a dialog for login but I have an issue.

If the user presses the escape key the dialog closes and the page becomes live.

I have around five buttons on the page and the EO dialog shows as modal and the rest of the page is greyed out. If the user enters their username & password the dialog window closes and the buttons become available. My problem is, if the user presses the escape key the dialog window also closes and the icons become available. How do I keep the dialog window there until the user has logged in.
