I am using the 3D menu on a image background and the menu bar and submenus have a white box behind them which you can see at the rounded corners. How do you make the container transparent so that my image shows through? I have a transparent PNG I'm trying to use, but I must not be putting it in the right place.

Hi,
That might be the sub menu shadow. Make sure you set the sub menu's ShadowDepth to 0 to turn it off. If the problem still occurs, you can put a test page online and we will be happy to take a look. We have to see it in order to tell you exactly what's going on.
Thanks

ShaddowDepth was set to 0. I exported your 3D gifs and they are not transparent. So they are good for only white backgrounds. I am making new ones for my menu.

Hi,
GIF are never really transparent. They just have a color in their palette set to be the "transparent" color. For real transparency you have to use PNG. However older IE does not support PNG transparency. So that's one issue that you might want to keep in mind.
Thanks

I have also put the page at:valrae.com/vc. You will see I have replaced the gif used to close the menu bar on the right with a transparent PNG that is blue. Notice that there is something to the right of this transparent PNG. Also on the left is your original gif and there seems to be something to its right. OR both images are in some kind of container that is not transparent.

Hi,
That's the background color and background image on the "top group". That is applied to the whole menu bar. You will need to clear those.
Thanks!
