I'd really like to extend the background image for sub items in my tab strip menu across the entire length of the menu instead of just behind the items. Is this possible?

Hi,

There are basically three places that you can set the background image: outside the TabStrip (which would have nothing to do with the TabStrip), with Tab Groups, or with tab items. The tab group is the box that contains all child sub tabs of a parent tab item. For your case, you may need to set the background image on the tab group. If that's not what you had in mind, then most likely you are out of luck. :)
