Hello :)
I built a little application with a few pages where page 1 have a fileExplorer where I can upload files and page 2 have the Editor.
Simple is - The fileExplorer is uploading files to a directory - and the Editor is writing to an access-database. It´s all working 100%.
My question though:
In the editor I have the "insert link" in the toolbar where you can link some text or a picture if you like. But do you have any solution to how im able to link to one of my uploaded files? (Files I uploaded with the fileExplorer to a directory)
Regards Ben

Hi,
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an easy way to do that now. We should probably add a CustomDialog command that you can invoke from the toolbar. We will look into it and see what we can do on that.
Thanks!

Has this issue been addressed in any of the releases since 1/2009? I think this would be a something many would required.
thanks

Hi, I believe you can do that with the current version. You will need to customize the "Insert Link" dialog. See here for more details about customizing dialogs: http://doc.essentialobjects.com/library/1/editor/customize_dialog.aspxIn your custom dialog you would show the FileExplorer and update the "Url" textbox when user selects a file from your file explorer (basically you are adding a "Browse" button into the "Insert Link" dialog). Thanks!
