I've purchased a license for your menu slider and I also use your free toolbar. The toolbar was working fine in my dev environment but its throwing a licensing error when I post it up to my server:

Menu ctl00_ucToolbar_eoMenu requires a license. You can purchase a license from http://www.essentialobjects.com/Order.aspx. Please refresh the page to continue. More on license. Already have a license? See troubleshooting License problems.

Where ucToolbar is the user control that contains the menu. Any thoughts how I can resolve this?

Hi,

You have a license for the "Slide Menu" control. The error message indicates that you are using the "Menu" control thus need a license for that control. "Menu" and "Slide Menu" are two different controls and they are licensed separately.

In order to resolve the issue, you must either remove the Menu from your page; or upgrade your Slide Menu license to the suite license for the price difference. Theoretically there is also a third option which is to purchase a separate license for the Menu control, however that costs about the same as upgrading your Slide Menu license to the suite license, so we wouldn't recommend that unless you really wanted to go with that option.

Hope this clears up. Please feel free to let us know if you have any more questions.

Thanks!

Your site states that the menu control is free, however. If I purchase a license can I no longer user the free menu you offer? That doesn't seem to make sense.

Nevermind, I see the nuance. I should be using the toolbar, not menu. Thanks.
