Is there any way apart from the html view for removing applied styles.

Using your demo if I applie style code to the word Editor it adds a class called code.

How do you remove it, you can normally selec the path and seelct remove or teh likes, does your not incorporate anything like this?

Hi,

I do not believe you can remove styles in design view in the current version. You can only remove them from HTML view. Sorry about that!

Thanks!

Certainly. The most reasonable solution probably is to enhance the "Clean Format" button to also clean style properties. Currently it only clean certain formatting "elements" (such as <B>, <I>, etc). We will see if we can put this into our next build.

Thanks!

But you would not necessarily want to remove all formatting only specific ones, so this would not be much use, the path selector would be the most direct, or selecting the style and applying remove from the style down down, would be another option.

Hi,

"Clean Format" removes format based on your current selection. The path selector helps you to identify a region in your HTML document and select that region. You can use the path selector to select a region first, then use "Clean Format" to clean it.

All formatting commands are to implemented based on the current selection, this is necessary to be consistent between different commands and also to be consistent with convention used by other editing applications (such as MS Word).

Thanks!

Hi,

It shouldn't be long, we are very quick on these things. However we won't promise a feature unless we have already fully evaluated it. It should be within a week or two if everything goes through fine. We will post again when we have it or decided against it.

Thanks!

Hi,

We have posted a new build that can clean up styles with "Clean Format". Please see your private message for the download location.

Thanks!
