The new version always align on the decimal point so that if you have multiple numbers vertically aligned, the decimal point would be at the same place and won't move when you type. To make the result consistent, the numbers are also right aligned when there is no decimal point at all. This is the same as how most financial form displays number so that user can easily tell which number is bigger just by looking at how much further a number "goes to the left".

This is unrelated to RighToLeft property.
