Support,

I set the dataformat for a column on the grid to {0:C}. When the grid loads I have $125,252.25 loaded. This is a TextBox coulumn. Once I edit the value and exit the cell the currency formatting is lost.

1. How do get the currency formatting back after editing a value?
2. How do I supress 0 to show as a blank if I cannot use custom formatting?

Thank you.

Hi,

None of the built-in column will do that for you, however you can use a CustomColumn for that. A CustomColumn is a column where you will need to define your own editing UI as well as routines to load value to your editing UI and get value from your editing. With CustomColumn the Grid only hold the cell data for you. You can find more details about CustomColumn here:

http://doc.essentialobjects.com/library/1/grid/custom_column.aspx

Thanks!
