Grid object - hidden row/column in IE8/FF Options

When viewing the grid object in IE8 and FF the entries in the last row and last column are hidden from view and appear to have a solid fill of the grid background colour. It looks fine in IE6 but I need it to display correctly in IE8. I updated the EO web controls to the latest version but it has made no difference whatsover.
Please advise.
