I certainly understand where you come from. It is always our goal to make a product that is as simple as possible. However there are also tones of features/request we have to balance. One wants a "simple" this, another wants a "simple" that, they reality is, it's impossible for us to implement them all, and even if we implement them all, that many "simples" piling together won't look simple any more. So our goal is to keep it simple to as much user as possible.

Your particular "simple" request certainly makes sense. It provided us yet another very valid scenario where there could be room to improve. Please be rest assured that we will keep our effort on that and we appreciate your feedback.
